Karate Instructor La Crosse
Kris Yoshizumi is the head instructor at Nicklaus’ Martial Arts America. He is 22 years old and while he spends much of his time in the martial arts classroom teaching he is also a full time student at Western Wisconsin Technical college pursuing a degree in radiology.
Mr. Yoshizumi has been training at Nicklaus’ Martial Arts America for the past twelve years and received his first degree Black Belt at the age of 14. Since then he has also earned his second and third degree Black Belts and continues to develop his martial arts and teaching skills.
Mr. Yoshizumi’s dedication to his students and love for the martial arts are evident in every class that he teaches. Even though he is young in years he is very mature in his understanding that he must teach his students more than just kicking and punching. Mr. Yoshizumi helps all of his students understand the important of Focus, Awareness, Accepting Challenges, Respect, and Self-Discipline.
In addition to teaching martial arts and pursuing his career in medicine Mr. Yoshizumi is also an avid outdoorsman who has a love for hunting and fishing. On the days he is not in the woods or on a lake you might find him cheering for his Brewers, Badgers, or Packers.
